FAQ

Here’s a list of our most frequently asked questions.  If you notice a question that’s not on here, email it to me five or six hundred times and see if it shows up!

What’s the best way to contact Stephen?

This website is your best chance of connecting with Stephen. He regularly checks the comments and emails that come our way and will be answering as many of your questions as time allows.  Of course if you don’t trust computers or want to put that fountain pen to good use, you can always feel free to drop Stephen a line at the following address:

Stephen Sommers
c/o William Morris Endeavor Entertainment
One William Morris Place
Beverly Hills, CA  90212

Great!  So that means I can send him my script, right?  I have this really cool idea for his next movie –

I’m sure you do but I’m going to have to cut you off right there.  While Stephen’s more than happy to read your questions and comments, he unfortunately has to draw the line somewhere.  Any scripts that are submitted through this site or via standard mail will either be returned or destroyed without having been read.  The same applies to treatments, pitches, stories, novels, tapes, DVD’s, cocktail napkins with a doodle that just might be the next big summer blockbuster – you get the idea.  Rest assured that we’re not being mean and that your idea’s probably awesome, we just can’t accept anything that doesn’t come from an agent or manager.

So…can Stephen help me get representation?

Stephen found his own representation out of film school, so we’re sure that you can too.  It’s all part of the process.  Just don’t give up hope – keep writing and making movies and you’ll get there.

If you’re not Stephen, then who are you?

My name’s Ryan and Stephen hired me to create this site.  I’ve worked with him for the past seven years – from Van Helsing straight on through G.I. Joe – and knew a scary amount about his movies even before that.  So rest assured that this isn’t a random fan page.  It’s run by me, approved by Stephen and 100% legit.  Too legit, some may say, to quit.
