One of my favorite things about this game is the fact that it isn’t a direct adaptation of the film’s storyline – when you pick up the controller, you’ll be playing an original story that takes place after the events in the film. What does that mean, aside from the fact that the gameplay won’t be as painfully predictable as it usually is in movie-to-game adaptations? Well, new characters for one. The videogame features G.I. Joe and Cobra operatives who didn’t make it into Rise of Cobra, while still letting you take control of your favorite characters from the movie. So what are you waiting for? I’m seriously looking forward to this. I’ve wanted to see a new generation G.I. JOE game for years, and the clips I’ve seen look pretty darn sweet. Can’t wait to pick this up.
