More Early Reviews

As we get closer to the August 7 release date of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, early reviews continue to pour in from across the web.  Four more just arrived in my inbox, with CHUD calling the film “a delightfully light, fun and action-packed kick in the ass” while Latino Review agrees there’s “so much about this movie that is so damn cool.”  And when their second review states that they “can’t wait for the sequel,” it puts them right on the same page as Ain’t It Cool News – their reviewer Capone writes that he “can’t wait to see where Sommers and the characters take us next.”  If you were at one of these advance screenings, write in and tell us what you think!

    Sounds Awesome I can’t wait!

I am glad to see now the movie in is just 2 min shy way from 2 hrs! Yes.

I will definelty be there on opening night or day!

I can never trust those rumors and test audiences. I mean, even Casablanca and Jaws had been said to have had horrible test screening results!

I think it’s your own excitement for a movie that counts.

Simple advance screenings can be good, but actual test screenings are another matter. Typically, people at a test screening are just looking for problems, so as a filmmaker I would never put much stock into what they have to say.

One more week to go! The last week before the release of a movie you’re dying to see is always the worse. It goes by so slow. Haha!!
