Today’s exclusive piece of concept art illustrated that the movie’s Convoy Attack sequence was originally scripted to take place during the day. The G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra – Mission Dossier, available both in stores and online, brings us a look at how the nighttime version of the scene appears in the finished film. Even though I’ve seen the movie more times that I can count, this has always been one of my very favorite scenes. It’s an incredible introduction to G.I. Joe and the forces that will eventually become Cobra, and some of the effects will leave your jaw on the floor.
