I checked out the Hasbro booth at Comic-Con today and definitely wasn’t disappointed – it’s jam-packed with the latest in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra collectibles, including incredible dioramas that recreate exact scenes from the film using the characters’ action figures. Even though the figure based on my likeness was posed as a mortally wounded Cobra solider not once but twice, I’m doing my best not to take it personally. Speaking of posing, fans were lining up to strike a karate stance next to the Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow costumes that were used in the film – after all, it’s not very often that you get both of the world’s deadliest ninjas in the same photo. Check them out below and then click to see them in their full-size glory. Since they cost me an entire day and a pretty bad sunburn, it’s really the least you could do.
After checking out the pics, click on over to Hiss Tank for a breakdown of Thursday’s Hasbro panel – it’s a great look at what toy fans have to look forward to in the coming months. Then visit Sideshow Toys, whose incredible line of premium G.I. Joe collectibles is available both at Comic-Con and through their website.
VERY cool looking toys.
Damn! I missed Comic-Con this year. Boooo!!!
Can’t wait for the film though.
