Early Reviews

A fresh pot of coffee, a stack of news items and a humming laptop (are laptops supposed to hum?) can only mean one thing – it’s time for us to start day two here at the world headquarters of stephensommers.com.  Yesterday’s launch couldn’t have gone better, with thousands of visitors from eighty different countries stopping by to tell us how excited they are about G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.  And thanks to some early reviews that are popping up all over the net, we can tell that they aren’t the only ones – Ain’t It Cool, Collider and Latino Review have all weighed in, with the consensus being that the movie’s a hugely fun summer action flick that’s “the cartoon come to life.”  Speaking as someone who’s seen the movie about a dozen times, I can tell you that they’re right on the money – there’s something in this movie for everyone and audiences are going to be blown away on August 7.  Since the reviews are spoiler-heavy, I’m not going to post any excerpts here – click on the links above if you can’t wait until opening day to find out what the film has in store.

Can’t wait to see this. early reviews look great, which is really encouraging…

I loved the teaser posters and the teaser trailer…but the extended stuff made me really, really, nervous.

I’m glad this is a return to “Mummy” form :)
